I read an interesting article in an economic blog recently and it says that there is a sharp increase, or there has been a sharp increase in the number of exorcisms in the recent years.
It had a couple of explanations as to why this is. The most common explanation is that the global economy, despite with a say on TV, is getting worse and worse. This is somehow having an effect of more and more demonic possessions because there’s something about slipping into a recession that increases the need for exorcisms.
There was this one cult leader that was very clever, very forward thinking, not like most cult leaders. Most cult leaders become cult leaders by accident. They have a particular view of the world. This particular view of the world is very receptive to certain members of society who are kind of on the fringes.
Clever Cult Leader
Once this cult leader, this accidental cult leader, starts to spread this message to this group of people that are on the fringes of society, he starts to realize how powerful he might become. This is when that old saying power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Before he was just a strange guy with a bunch of strange ideas, but once this strange guy sees how many people are receptive to these strange ideas that’s when the power goes to his head. That’s when he becomes the leader of a death cult.
This particular cult leader was not like that. This particular cult leader, his intention from the very beginning was to create a death cult. Not only to create a death cult but to create a death cult and be famous for it.
Serial Killer’s Last Words
There was this one serial killer that they finally caught after several decades of chasing him. When they caught him, they only had enough evidence to tie him to two of the murders and there was enough evidence to give him the death penalty.
They suspected that he killed at least 20 or 30 other people. They even tried to offer him a plea bargain. If you confessed to killing these other people, if you tell us where the bodies are, we won’t kill you. But he refused to bargain. He refused to negotiate. He accepted that they are going to kill him.
It came time to execute him. It was just about the time for them to slip the needle into his arm his time to give his last statements.
Evil Preacher
There was this evil preacher that was very evil but he was very clever. On the surface he was very attractive, very young, very charismatic, and he spoke about Jesus. He spoke about the things people like to hear when they hear about Jesus. About how Jesus is love. About how Jesus is compassion. About how if you believe in Jesus you can become famous.
If you believe in Jesus you can make a lot of money. If you believe in Jesus you can have everything you want. He would tell these very long sermons, but what he was really doing was hypnotizing the entire congregation.
Once he had the entire congregation under hypnosis, he would deliver very powerful, very satanic post hypnotic suggestions. He would say things like you’re not going to remember these words later because they’re coming in the middle of a whole bunch of stories that don’t make sense, but you will remember these when you dream tonight.
Second Order Effects
It won’t be these words that do the damage to your brain. It will be the things these words remind you of. As you’re sleeping tonight, these words will remind you of all the horrible things you’ve done to other people in your life. Soon those horrible things will grow into your own personal demons that will haunt you.
You will soon make the decision that the only way to alleviate the pain from these horrible demons is to begin causing pain to others. When you start causing pain to others that will mean you are on the path to righteousness. But then he would keep talking about Jesus and pretty soon everybody would come out of their hypnotic trance.
He would talk about Jesus and everyone would have these happy Jesus feelings not knowing that they had some demonic posthypnotic suggestions already implanted into your brain.
This Isn’t Me
Just before they’re going to inject him the serial killer looked at the people watching him and said I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking that once they kill me you will have some kind of peace. You will believe that justice will have been served.
Unfortunately, you are incorrect because the person speaking now is not the soul this body came with. I took over this body 20 years ago. The soul this body came with has been dead for 20 years. As soon as they kill me my spirit will leave this body and my spirit will go into one of your bodies and you will continue my killing.
What this cult leader knew about himself was that he was so charismatic, so magnetic, so attractive, that people would do whatever he wanted without question. So he got a cult of at least 50 people. He had them in the middle of the desert. He gave them a sermon and he recorded the sermon. He said you have two choices. You can leave now or you can drink the Kool-Aid.
Drink By Free Will
If you drink the Kool-Aid, you’re drinking and on your own free will. Everybody drank the Kool-Aid because he was so charismatic and everybody died. Then the police found the video. The police watched the video. It was clear that they drank the Kool-Aid under their own free will.
This cult leader wasn’t convicted. They had to put him in the witness protection program and cover this up because they were afraid he would continue to do this.
The reason they think that there so many possession cases because if you fall asleep at night and you have financial worries and anxieties and if you carry those into your sleep that will make you particularly susceptible to demonic forces.
How To Keep Demons Away
The only way to inoculate yourself against demonic forces as you fall asleep as to think about happy thoughts as you fall asleep. To think about thoughts about making money as you fall asleep.
Think about thoughts about helping other people and making money in the process as you fall asleep. If you do that before you go to bed tonight, if you do that you will keep the demons away.
