Old Pyramid Schemes
Back during the seventies, pyramid clubs were very popular, but they were made illegal very quickly.
The concept was simple.
Show up, pay ten bucks to get in, and try and recruit more members.
If you ever got to the top, you would get all the money from everybody else.
I’ve been going to this small church in my neighborhood for a while.
At first, based on the language structure that pastor used during his sermon, I thought it was some kind of franchise or something.
He kept referring to management, or something that made it seem like he had some bosses he had to refer to.
But then later I found out this was just a stand lone church, and he was the only pastor, which made me curious.
Lots of Groups
They had a whole bunch of smaller groups, bible study groups, feed the homeless groups, so I was curious to find out what the deal was.
There was this very secretive cult in the late sixties, and early seventies in the hills of Central California.
But they weren’t your run of the mill hippie cult or death cult.
It was very, very hard to get accepted into this cult.
Entry Highly Restricted
You wouldn’t even be allowed to visit their compound unless you were pre-qualified by at least six members in good standing.
There was this reporter who wanted to understand what this was all about, and it took her ten years to finally join the cult.
She just published her book about her story a few months ago, saying what this secretive cult was about.
They are no longer cult, they are an official, government sanctioned organization, and they are nothing like anybody expected.
There is this woman who is in her late seventies, and she is extremely wealthy.
She’s one of the wealthiest persons in the world, but she has hidden her wealth so effectively that she never appears on any list.
She made her wealth by starting hundreds, if not thousands, of network marketing businesses.
While these types of businesses are kind of sketchy, they are, for the mots part, perfectly legal.
She had a few skills, that when combined together, would make it very easy for her to make a ton of money.
Not just make a ton of money, but make a ton of money mostly by passive income streams.
Know Your Market
The first step is she is very aware of market conditions.
She has a very keen idea of what products will sell well, under a network marketing scenario, and what won’t.
Second is she is very good at figuring out the right people to put together in a room to get the ball rolling.
People with money, people with interest, people with connections.
But her real skill is she is a powerfully hypnotic speaker.
When she describes this business opportunity, she does so in a way that makes these ideas sound incredibly compelling.
That this is such a powerful idea that you must take advantage of it right away.
That this idea, if understood correctly, can make you millions.
When she presents her ideas, she puts the entire room into a trance.
A trance filled with wonderful future dreams of unlimited income and money.
And since she’s already done the work of creating a basic outline structure of this fantastic opportunity, and she’s put the right people together, they do all the work.
Short Time Skim
She gets a 10% cut of the first two years business, and a 5% cut of the next three years.
This covers the bulk of any network marketing business.
She been starting businesses like this for decades, and all she does is come up with an idea, get the right people together, and then hypnotize them into starting the company.
Billion Dollar Brain
And that’s why she’s worth billions.
When they first started, they were justa regular hippie cult.
Their plan was to hang out up the hills, grow a bunch of weed, have orgies under the full moon, and call it good.
But when they started to plan their first crop, they realized they were sitting on top of several tons of gold.
Mineral Rights Are Tricky
The problem was that the government owned the mineral rights to the land.
So over the next couple of decades, their main goal was to become any kind of legitimate organization, with the only requirement being that the government would sell them the land, including the mineral rights.
I was finally approached by this old woman.
She said her and her friends noticed I’d been asking around, about their organizational structure.
You Gonna Kill Me?
At first I thought I was in trouble, but then she said they’d tell me everything, so long as I signed an NDA.
Turns out this group of old ladies practice a very ancient and esoteric form of the occult, and they run the church from the inside.
It started as a hobby, seven of them, only doing chanting and meditations to attract the right people.
They still see it as a hobby, but they want to keep their involvement secret.
Cult Hobby Ladies
The church does about a million a year in business, taking in donations and then giving them to various charities around the world.
And the pastor does believe there is a corporation in charge, which is really a group of lawyers that these ladies control through their remote occult mind control techniques.
Finally they said they were illegal.
Not Enough People
Since every time you get paid out, you need at least five new members.
And since this type of geometric progression is unsustainable, if this continued, you would eventually run out of people.
I guess back in the seventies, the courts ruled that a financial system that only benefited the people at the top is illegal.
Today, they seemed to have changed their mind.
Mind Persuasion has plenty of books and courses to teach you how to speak hypnotically and persuasively.
