My Barber Criteria
I’ve recently been going to see this barber to get my haircut. When I choose a barber I have a set of criteria I look for. For me personally I prefer someone who is a very very good conversationalist.
My hairstyle is very very easy and very cheap. I could find a place for five or $10 to get a cut but I like to sit there and have somebody cut my hair and have a just a relaxing conversation. This is a type of criteria I use when I’m searching for a hairstylist.
The woman who cuts my hair reminds me of this bartender I used to watch. I’ve talked to her a few times but watching her operate is much more enjoyable than talking to her. She is really really gorgeous young girl beautiful face she was a college student and she had a gorgeous figure.
Two Types Of Pickup Artists
There are two types of guys that would hit on her. Every single guy would talk to her, including me, would hit on her and get shot down. How they hit on her would be interesting. How she would respond, and she has this ironclad rule that she will not date anybody no matter how attractive or interesting they are. Anybody that that she meets while working.
The two categories are the guys that are very very overt and aboveboard and honest with their intentions. They make it clearl they like her. They make it clear that they would like to date her turn. They ask for her number right away.
She likes these most because they’re the most honest. There’re the most pleasant and when she says no thank you they understand they leave her alone.
The kind that she doesn’t really like so much are the kind that she can tell they like her but they’re kind of scared to be overt about it and so they tried to kind of beat around the bush in a have these long drawnout conversations.
Impress Her With Stories
They are trying to impress her somehow with their stories. With their experiences, their insights, their intelligence. Because they’re a little bit annoying to her since it they won’t just come out and admit that they like her and they’re interested.
She becomes very very outwardly flirtatious with these people almost as if she’s purposely toying with them. Just to kind of force them to finally fish or cut bait so to speak, and the more she does this the more nervous they get pretty soon they leave.
It sometimes takes a long time and one time though she completely misread this guy. This guy came in and started telling her this story and she thought he was one of the guys that was interested in her but was afraid to express his interest in so she overtly started flirting with him.
Hypnosis On A Whim
In the story he was telling her was about his ex-business partner. He and his business partner had the small business or their own business and they would drive around and they would distribute soft drinks to liquor stores and non-chain convenience stores.
His business partner one day just decided on a whim that he was going to be a hypnotist. He didn’t spend any time doing anything that would make him learn hypnosis. He didn’t spend any time to study hypnosis he just wanted to be a hypnotist.
He would stop people on the street, and he didn’t even use hypnotic inductions. He would just find people and give hypnotic commands and he would look at them and say things like you’re listening to me now and because you’re listening to me you’re under my hypnotic commands.
Because you’re listening to these words tonight when you sleep you’re going to have dreams and when you have dreams these dreams are going to allow you to remember who you really are. You’re going to remember your intelligence.
Discover Your Hidden Skills
You’re going to discover hidden skills. You’re going to understand the truth about money. You can understand the truth about relationships. You’re going to discover hidden talents that you didn’t think you had. You’re going to become more outgoing.
You’re going to become more playful with other people. You’re going to increase your intelligence. You’re going to increase your creativity.
Then he would stop and look at the people and they would look at him funny because he was giving them commands that were kind of pleasant they just stood there and listen to them than they would walk away.
Of course these commands may work, you’ll never know until you wait into the future. This guy was discovered. A strange guy. Their business ended for reasons that didn’t have anything to do with his partner trying to be a hypnotist.
Dude…What?
When he finished telling her the story it turned out that he was just telling the story because he wanted to tell her a story. He really wasn’t attracted to her but she completely misread him and thought that he was flirting with her so she was flirting with him just as much.
But when he went to pay he started to see her flirting with him and he thought that she was trying to pick him up and that made him uncomfortable.
When he paid he purposely opened his wallet to get the money and when he opened his wallet to pull out the money he showed her the picture of him and his wife and his two kids and that’s when she realized she completely misunderstood this whole situation.
She completely misread the story that she just heard and so she, was taken aback and this was the only time I’ve seen her kind of off-balance. Most of the time she’s super super confident super intelligent super articulate.
Fantastic Conversationalist
When she asks me questions it’s very very easy to answer. She has a fantastic way of reading people. She’ll be talking and she’ll know when I’ve kind of lose interest and she’ll just come look at me and know when to switch the subject. She’d look at me and know when to ask questions she’ll know when to ask for feedback.
This is why I’ve chosen her for my barber because she has this incredible skill of being able to carry on a conversation with someone without requiring that the other person participate verbally in the conversation.
I just have to sit there and listen to what she’s saying and respond nonverbally automatically and naturally. She can, she’ll know exactly when I’m bored and and exactly when the changes subject she’ll just need to glance at me in the mirror and know whether or not him following her or not.
Conversation Skills Are So Money
If you can develop these conversational skills, you can become an incredibly attractive conversationalist and because she’s such a good conversationalist.
I mean my haircut is only worth about $5-$10 dollars max but I easily pay $40-$50 including tip just because sitting and listening to her talk is such a pleasant experience.
If you can develop skills like this if you can become a conversationalist with you can talk to people and read people at the same time you will become very very attractive to a great many people for a lot of different reasons.
