When organized public demonstrations turn into civil unrest, the mathematics and energy structure changes abruptly.

Not much work has been done in brain-swarm based dissipative structures.
They are theorized to suck in ideas, and thoughts, swirl them around, and use them to build up their energy and destroy everything in their path.
So when these brain swarms are finished, the thought capacity of any local victims will be essentially destroyed.
Naturally, the main reason for this research is for defense purposes.
Weaponized Brain Swarms
The holy grail, of course, would be a weaponized system of brain swarming dissipative structures, that would essentially roll through an entire society, destroying all thought capacity.
Historically, when people believe that if they don’t find something to eat, they will die, they do anything to stay alive.
In the middle ages, when people thought that they had a choice between finding something to eat or dying, they did anything to find something to eat.
