Laundry Room Issue
So the other day I was sitting in my local laundromat because the machines in my apartment complex were being repaired. I had just put my clothes in the dryer and I was sitting there waiting for my clothes to finish drying and I noticed there was a woman sitting next to me and she was reading a magazine.
I glanced at the cover of the magazine. It was some type of metaphysical magazine about white magic, white witchcraft, white energy work. I glanced at the lady’s face and she had this very very happy look on her face.
Her pupils were huge. Her lips were swollen and slightly parted. She looked like she was reading something absolutely fantastic. She looked like whatever she was reading was giving her an incredible amount of pleasure.
Happy Reader
I thought maybe she was reading some type of hypnotic story. The kind of hypnosis that makes you remember what it was like to feel fantastic pleasure. To remember what it was like just before that very exciting time when you learned that very exciting news and everything turned out to be better than you thought it would.
I waited until her eyes moved slightly to indicate that her consciousness had been slightly decreased. I didn’t want to interrupt such a wonderful state. I asked her, I said “Hey is that a good article?” and she looked at me and said, “This is the best article ever.”
She turned the magazine so I can see it, and she put her finger on the author. Then it hit me. She was reading her own article, that’s why she was so happy.
Proud Of Her Work
I said, “is this yours?” She said yes. When she said yes her happiness increased by a hundredfold. I said may I read it? She said please please please and she handed over to me. It turned out that it was a short story that had been published in this white magic magazine.
The story was about a woman who was, when she was in high school she decided that she wanted to be a psychic. She wanted her job to be a psychic but her psychic skills were very very weak. Every time she tried to do things like tarot card readings or any kind of crystal work she was always completely wrong and so nobody trusted her.
Nobody wanted to listen to her advice. So she was very very upset that before she even finished high school her dreams were shattered. One night she prayed to Satan to give her psychic powers. Satan came and offered her a deal.
Let’s Make A Deal
Satan told her that if you use your psychic powers that I give you and you turn 10,000 souls to me I will give you this gift. That is the deal I offer you tonight. I will give you the ability to read the future. I will give you the ability to read the minds of other people, but you have to give me 10,000 souls that I can torment for all eternity.
The young woman said yes very very quickly. The way this worked was she would have clients come see her for her psychic skills. She would look into their mind and the ones that were sufficiently damaged she would send them down the path of Satan.
She wouldn’t tell them that she was sending them down the path of Satan. She would tell them that she was sending them down the path of righteousness and easy money and easy love and easy sex and easy success. Since they were so eager to find these things they would do whatever she told them.
Sounds Good At First…
But the things that she told them to do would inevitably leave them to Satan. The worst story embedded in these stories is this one woman that just got dumped very very viciously very very painfully.
She had a very promising career. When she was very young she was very gorgeous very talented, but she gave it all up to follow the man that she thought she loved. After she followed him for 10 years, it turned out that he was just using her to advance his own career.
She was so young and gorgeous next to him it made him look so much better and he used that as much as he could. Once he was done using her once he was famous in his own right he ditched her unceremoniously. He ditched her incredibly painfully and viciously and angrily.
When Will I Find Love Again?
She was in a very very dark part of her life when she came to the psychic. She asked if she will ever find true love again. The psychic looked into her mind and saw that she would cross paths with a serial killer in a few weeks So the psychic described this encounter with a serial killer in terms of an encounter with her next true love.
When she saw the serial killer she thought it was her next true love and she fell in love with him. The killer took her into his basement where he slowly tortured her to death. Painfully, agonizingly and meticulously over the next two months.
During this time of slow torture to death and anguish she gave herself to Satan. This is something that this psychic did 10,000 times over the course of her life. When she finally had handed over the 10,000 souls to Satan she thought she would be free. She thought her end of the deal was done.
Father Of Lies
But it turns out that Satan is called the father of lies for a reason. He lied to her. When she gave him his ten thousandth soul she herself would be tormented for all eternity by the same 10,000 souls.
Because this is a white witchcraft magazine they told her that she needed to put some type of positive spin at the end of the story in an otherwise good horror story. The positive spin was Satan is the father of lies.
Satan always comes to us in disguise and the lie is always the same. I promise you a shortcut to success. I promise that you don’t need to do the work that everybody else does because you have this special information. You don’t need to do the same work that everybody else does because you are better than everybody else.
Vanity Leads To Hell
Because you are better than everybody else you get this secret that bypasses the hard work required to get to success. If you use this secret you will be more successful than everybody else. You will be more famous than everybody else. You will be recognized as superior to everybody else.
This is the ancient desire of humans that always makes us believe in the lies of Satan. But they are always lies. So the moral of the story is never trust any shortcuts to success.
Even though white light is a metaphysical spiritual power, it is still a strategy. It still takes time. It still takes effort. It still takes patience. Even though you are using higher metaphysical powers there are no shortcuts.
Damn Dude!
I finished reading the article. The whole time she was watching me with this really happy excited look hoping that I would like it. I give it back to her and I said wow that was the best story I ever read.
She really really smiled. Then the minute I noticed why she seemed to so happy, when I first noticed she seemed so happy because she was displaying a very ancient human positive trait.
That is feeling happiness at seeing something that you created through the work of your own hands and your own mind and your own patience and your perseverance. Then when you see that work appreciated by somebody else that gives you even more happiness and pleasure.
