Down At The Bus Stop
The other day I was down at the bus stop waiting for the bus and a woman came up. As she came walking up she was looking at her watch and looking at the bus schedule that was posted on the side of the street and I noticed a puzzled look on her face.
I kind of guessed why she had a puzzled look on her face. The bus schedule and the time the actual bus shows up don’t seem to be very highly correlated. I told her that the bus schedules may be outdated and that I suspected that the bus would be there in about 5 to 10 minutes.
We started talking. What you do for living, what are your hobbies, where are you from, etc. It turns out she’s in the process of getting certified to become a past life regression therapist.
Two Schools Of Thought
It turns out that in therapy there’s basically two schools of thought when it comes to dealing with non-traditional therapeutic models. The first school of thought is kind of like the neurological medical biological school of thought which says if anyone comes and presents any type of unverifiable hallucination, the first step is to convince them that this hallucination is incorrect.
Before you can heal them you have to get them to accept that they been operating within a false hallucination of reality. The second mindset says that whenever they come to you with a strange model of the world all you need to do is operate within that model of the world.
If you decide to operate within somebody’s existing model of the world you’ll find it much much easier to create deep rapport. If you create deep rapport you’ll find it much much easier to get inside and help them deal with their issues. To help them find out how to get what they want to help them overcome their problems. To help them find out who they really are.
Work Within The Metaphor
This requires you accept their operational metaphor at face value. You don’t try to tell them why they’re wrong. You don’t say silly unhelpful things like I believe that you believe. You just assume that they are telling the truth. You assume their operational metaphor is an accurate model of the world and you work within that.
This means that if you actually believe in past lives that’s fine but if you don’t believe in past lives that’s fine too. So long as you’re willing to work within the past life metaphorical representation of the world that’s perfectly okay.
To learn how to do this she went to a lot of seminars to learn how to regress people deeper and deeper into their past lives. The woman that taught this seminar was particularly powerful. She had developed a technique that simply by asking questions, simply by pondering the potential answers to these questions, people would kind of resonate a certain energy.
Mind Energy Resonators
That energy resonating in their minds would help them to go deeper and deeper into their past lives. That didn’t require that they answer the question that only required that they ponder the potential answers. While pondering the potential answers it would open up all the parallel dimensions in their mind from which they could discover their past lives.
This one woman had a very very powerful experience. She went back and she experienced first-hand the collapse of the Mayan Empire. She said the collapse of the Mayan Empire is nothing like what historians or politicians or anthropologists or economists think the collapse of the Mayan Empire is.
Actually the same thing that caused the collapse of all other empires. That is a very fantastic very wonderful very pure singular spiritual event. It turns out that all societies are built for the same way to serve as a filter for our spiritual selves to become more and more righteous every single time.
Repeated Cycle of Collapse
Every single civilization has the same model of collapse. There is a spiritual event at the end. The spiritual event at the end serves as a sorting filter where the righteous are accepted into heaven and the unrighteous are left behind to try again. Ourselves as spiritual beings created the system so that we could go through this over and over and over again and purify ourselves over and over and over again.
The way this model is presented in modern Western societies to the Christian idea of the rapture that at the end of time, Jesus will come back and Jesus will take of the righteous to heaven and leave the unrighteous behind. But according to this woman at this seminar this same process happens every single time and has happened every single time and will happen every single time.
This is a process that we as spiritual beings have set up for ourselves. This filtration system that helps us to re-purify ourselves over and over and over again. The whole time she was explaining this half of it was an ancient Mayan the other half was translated into English.
Low Barrier Invites Scammers
One of the biggest problems with past life regression therapy is a very low entry which means pretty much anybody can do it. If you’re going to go see a therapist and the therapist is a medical doctor and a psychiatrist and had a lot of certificates from a lot of well-known universities that would give you a lot of confidence.
But anybody can become a past life regression therapist which means you have to do a lot of digging to find out if your past life regression therapist is actually a valid therapist or just a con artist. In any area where there’s a low barrier for entry you can have a lot of con artists who are much better at selling their services they are developing the actual skills.
It is ultimately up to you to decide whether this is true or not. It is ultimately up to you decide whether this makes any sense or not. It is ultimately up to you to decide what truths, if any, exist within this and what you might think about them and how you might decide to apply these to your life.
