Hare Krishna Magic
Once upon a time, the Hare Krishna’s were a bunch of broke hippies.
They were founded in the sixties in New York, and their entire business model was based on begging for money and trying to teach people their philosophy.
There were always broke, because they didn’t really apply any technology to their begging strategy.
But as soon as they applied some very basic persuasion technology, this same group of broke hippies became very, very rich, very, very quickly.
The only thing they changed was how, specifically, they begged for money.
Many companies are based on a secret formula or a secret recipe.
For example, Coca Cola has always kept their formula a secret.
Famous cookie brands have secret cookie recipes.
Probably one of the most sought after, and closely kept secret recipe today is Google’s Search algorithm.
YouTube, which is owned by Google, has their own algorithm.
The perception about both is similar.
If you can understand the algorithm, you can make a ton of money.
This is the first time in human history that a proprietary algorithm has existed like this in the public consciousness.
Every other secret formula is like Coca Cola.
To make any money off it, you’d have to reverse engineer it, and then use that as a basis to create and sell a competing product.
But for Google and YouTube’s algorithm, if you can crack either of those codes, you can get very, very wealthy.
Cialdini is famous for discovering all of the persuasion technologies that exist largely in our subconscious.
Science, Not An Art
He explained that persuasion is very much a science, and not an art.
But we think it’s an art since we are persuaded by factors that happen outside of our conscious awareness.
Then we come up with a post event, rational sounding reason why we think we did what we did.
And then we believe that after the fact story is the reason we did what we did.
And we use that to try and persuade others.
Since that’s not the reason, it doesn’t work.
So we believe that persuasion is some kind of mysterious art that some people are good at, and others aren’t.
Cialdini, in his books, through plenty of academic level social experiments, demonstrated otherwise.
That if you know these laws of persuasion, you can pretty much convince anybody to do anything.
Secret Cologne Formula
One of the most closely guarded secret formulas that few people know about is the chemical mixture that is in all popular colognes and perfumes.
There is one company that has kept this one base formula very, very secret for hundreds of years.
There is a lot of deep level collusion between all the manufacturers of colognes and perfumes.
Necessary For Success
If they contain this base ingredient, they will work well and sell well.
If they do not, they will not.
Long ago, there was a scientist working in their laboratory.
They had long established the effectiveness of this formula, and the job of this chief scientist was to simply keep it effective, and to try any micro changes that might improve up it.
This guy was highly intelligent, but also highly introverted.
He very much liked his life in the laboratory.
Alone with his instruments and his science.
Then he accidentally discovered what he was sure was a synthetic version of human pheromones.
Need To Do Some Testing
He was such an introvert that he didn’t want to alert his superiors, who weren’t scientists, until he was sure.
So he did some field testing.
This was back in the early sixties.
He got a job selling various products door to door.
He used this pheromone, wondering if it would help his sales.
It took all his strength to overcome his introvertedness, but he was propelled by his imaginations of success.

If his formula worked, he would be rich beyond his wildest dreams.
But it worked far beyond what he’d hoped.

He sold every single one.
Money and Sex
Not only that, but he had sex with sixty percent of the housewives.
He repeated this experiment with encyclopedias and whatever else he could sell door to door.
The results were the same.
He made tons of sales, and had tons of sex with various housewives, who were eager to sexually serve and satisfy him.
This is the result of that particular pheromone.
He tried various experiments, in various places, and the results were the same.
Mind Control Magic
Whenever he wore this pheromone, people would beg to obey this person.
People would beg to serve this person.
People would beg to buy everything this person was selling.
Nobody knows what happened to him.
He never reported back to his job.
Secret Elite Boss
Some believe he sits on the board of directors of every major company in the world.
Exerting enormous amounts of control over nearly every major decision.
Studies have been done on search engine algorithms.
They’ve been shown to sway elections, and to even change people’s religious beliefs.
Jung and Cialdini
Jung said that unless you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.
This is essentially what Cialdini said about the laws of influence.
Until you take the time to understand these laws, they will control you and you won’t know why.
But if you take the time to learn these simple laws of influence, you will be able to control others, and they won’t know why.
The Hare Krishna’s only applied a couple of these laws of influence.
And virtually overnight they went from being a bunch of broke hippies to being so wealthy that they got shut down by the IRS.
All they had to do was pay their Taxes, or at least register as a religion so they wouldn’t have to, and they could have become one of the most powerful religions on Earth.
So long as you know the laws, both of civil society and the laws of human nature, there is no limit to the power and wealth you can amass.
