I have a friend who, from the outside, looks like a completely normal person. Normal job, normal life, normal house. He just recently told me out of the blue that he had just recovered from a nearly fatal disease.
This happened over the past year and he kept it all to himself. Him and his wife and kids. He didn’t tell anybody else. He found out that he had this disease, the kind of disease that if you find out about it too late it’s going to kill you and there’s nothing you can do.
He found out about it early enough so they could treat it. The treatment would take a while, it would be somewhat painful, and it would be a lot of stress and anxiety. His doctor recommended that he go to a support group to share his feelings.
Two Unexpected Shocks
The first time he went there he had two things that were surprising and kind of uncomfortable. The first one was that it turns out that there actually are quite a few of these support group tourists kind of like they showed in Fight Club.
People that don’t really have the disease, show up and claim to be family members with people that you have the disease. This kind of made him angry because he felt like they were cheating and they didn’t deserve to get sympathy when he was the one with the disease.
The second people made him feel even worse, the second group of people were the people that had the same disease he did, but they were dying from it. That made him feel incredibly guilty.
There was this one guy that came just one night. He shared his story of how he overcame the disease even though his doctor told him it was going to kill him. He was told he only had two weeks to live and he refused to believe this.
He started looking for alternative cures. He found out about a guy who lived in South America, some type of shaman who had very powerful healing techniques. It was unclear whether these healing techniques were his actual skills or if he was had access to some kind of plants that science hadn’t yet discovered.
This guy decided that he was going to die anyway, so he will start looking for this guy. He spent a month, even though he was told he had only two weeks to live, he spent a month looking for this guy. When he finally found him it took him another two weeks to finally be accepted into this guy’s inner circle.
Plants And Metaphysical Skills
I guess it turns out this guy’s healing techniques are a combination of his shamanistic techniques as well as some of the properties of the plants. This guy is correct in being worried about the pharmaceutical companies finding out about these plants.
These plants grow in an area where there’s a lot of these ancient tribes that still live like they did thousands of years ago, deep into the rain forest. He’s worried that if the pharmaceutical companies find out about these plants that live down there they will absolutely destroy the last of the natural humans.
He’s naturally very very protective of these plants and the powers that he shares with these plants. The guy said that once he was accepted into his inner circle it was about a week long out of body experience.
They sat around in a circle. They drank this concoction periodically, played these drums periodically. They slept and woke up and slept and woke up. The whole time his mind was just traveling all over the universe. Was traveling in and out of other people’s consciousness.
He was traveling in or out of the consciousness of animals. He was traveling backwards and forwards in time. He saw things that he didn’t think were even possible. After the week was over he was told that your finished. Go back home.
He went back and checked with his doctor, and his doctor said you are cured. He was baffled. He didn’t have an explanation. This was after having been told after the initial diagnosis of you have two weeks to live.
The reason he came to this support group was not to try and sell this technique but just to let everybody know that you always have options. No matter what people tell you you always have options. There are always options that you haven’t yet discovered.
He even cautioned them that if you do decide to go looking for the shaman you have to find him yourself. That it is very likely that the trip down there will kill you faster than the disease. My only point is to tell you that no matter what people tell you. No matter how bad things are you have options.
My friends said the most transformative part of that support group was he got the most help the most compassion the most insight from the people that shared his disease that were going to die.
I guess when you accept your death and you realize that this life is just one transitional phase on the whole infinite number of transitional phases is when you accept that, you release all of the false fears that we associate with this. Most of which are associated with dying. When you release false fears you can become much more compassionate, much more understanding much more open to other people.
Set Yourself Free
My friend said that these people taught him things that he never thought he would ever understand about the meaning of life. This is what is the most grateful for was finding out this deep truth.
Mind Persuasion has plenty of books and courses to teach you how to speak hypnotically and persuasively.
