Free Sales Seminar
I went to this free seminar near my house a couple of weeks ago. It was a seminar about closing techniques, so it kind of assumed a little bit of previous knowledge about sales.
Like most free seminars, it was about two hours of basic information mixed in with promises for the future and then to upsales in the backroom.
The reason I go these things is primarily to check out the competition and also to make sure that there’s really nothing new out there. As it turns out most of the sales stuff you buy is kind of the same stuff rehashed given different names.
Strippers Need To Sell
What was interesting about this one seminar is a lot of strippers were there. It turns out that if you’re a stripper there’re four different ways to make money. The first ways to show up and dance on stage and hope that guys toss dollars at you.
The second way is to kind of walk around the club and approach people. Start conversations with people and get them to buy you drinks and if they buy you a drink you get half of the drink price.
The third way is to sell lap dances to those individuals that you approached in the club.
The fourth way is the most lucrative way. The fourth way involves being able to take the customer into a VIP room. This requires that you have a good deal of persuasive skills.
All About Persuasion
You essentially have to convince the customer that instead of sitting there talking to you while looking at some other girl dance, it would be a better idea to take you into a private room where he can have you all to himself. That private room is $500
But it turns out there’s even a better group or a more prosperous group of strippers. They are these nomads, and it turns out that once you get the angle down of the basic strip club you can do that in any strip club.
Strippers don’t have to get hired. They have to pay the owner of the strip club a certain percentage. Once you figure out how to work any kind of strip club they can work any strip club. These groups of girls travel from city to city and they work in a big city, work in a bunch of strip clubs and make a lot of money they take a couple weeks off.
They travel around some more. It turns out within this group there is even a much more clever and creative money making group of strippers. These strippers, they first they select their ideal target. Their ideal target is usually a guy that is very wealthy but he has very little skills with women.
All The Money Is Outside The Box
Since there’s a lot of guys like this today, this is a guy is not that difficult to find. They approach this guy and they give him some kind of a compliment but it’s based on cold reading.
They tell the guy, they say they sensed something special about him that is different from all the other guys and they deliver it in a way that sounds reasonable and he very much wants to believe. Because of that cold reading based compliment they invite him back to their hotel.
On the way back to the hotel they make sure they verify through clever questioning and conversational tactics to find out exactly how much money he has. He has to have a certain amount of money for them to qualify for this next procedure.
What they do is a take him back to their hotel there always very very playful and friendly. Within half an hour they have them naked and tied to the bed.
Make Him Beg For Release
Once he’s naked and tied to the bed, they make sure he’s still in a good mood and having fun. They get a very very close to achieving orgasm but they don’t let him finish.
They keep them in that state for an hour or two and invariably within the first hour or two he starts to beg for them to let him finish. They never ever make any suggestions about what they want in exchange for letting him finish. They always wait for him to offer whatever he thinks will convince them to let him finish.
This is always money because they take the right guy. They pick the guys that have very little confidence, very little experience with women but a lot of money. Finally they agree on the exchange and let him finish and he pays the money and they’re happy and he’s happy.
They usually get between $50,000 and $100,000 per scenario but for the guy this is like the best night of his life. He’s going to remember this for the rest of his life.
He’ll Think It’s His Idea
While they were telling me this, Iwas thinking that this is very very similar to most people in general. Most people think about strip clubs as kind of a place were skanky, slightly low intelligence, low moral women go to work.
But it’s really kind of a the same situation all over the world in general. There’s some people that show up and do the basic minimum and they get a little bit of money.
Then there are some people that are a little bit more proactive and they realize they need to get out there and interact with people. They make a little bit more money. Then they’re some people that are more proactive than that and they make a little more money.
But the people that make the most money are the ones that are the most proactive, the most creative, and they also create the most pleasure in other people.
Make Money The Same Way
It turns out that the secret to making money outside of the strip club is the same as the secret to making money inside of the strip club.
You have to be very persuasive, you have to be very clever, you have to be very proactive, and you have to find ways to create exchanges where you create some kind of a benefit that the customer can’t get anywhere else and there grateful for you and they give you a lot of money.
The seminars are usually very simple and they’re usually filled up with that kind of basic sales information. At the back of the room there’s basic homestudy courses.
You can tell by the back of the home study course, if you read, if you’ve read a few sales books, the homestudy courses have pretty much the same stuff that most sales books.
But this is kind of, it was interesting to me because I never really thought of strippers as being the kind of people that are always actively trying to find out ways to make more money by increasing their skills and persuasion.
Proactive – Persuasive – Creative
A few strippers realize that the more persuasive you are, the more creative you are, the more money you can make. All you have to do is continue to be proactive, be creative, and you can make a lot of money.
